Paintless Dent Repair
At Carolinas Collision Centers we offer Paintless Dent Repair (PDR). Our PDR service is a great alternative to traditional auto body work. This was implemented to help you, the customer, save time and money without compromising the quality of your repair.
Paintless Dent Repair (PDR), often times referred to as Paintless Dent Removal, utilizes specialized tools and techniques to remove a variety of dents and dings to avoid using traditional repair methods. The PDR process saves on labor and materials by not using sandpaper, body filler, or auto paint.
Our PDR Process
The first thing we will do to begin the process is an assessment of your vehicle's dents. We inspect the size, location, and severity of the auto body damage to determine how much work is required. If the dents are repairable using PDR, we'll promptly provide you with a written estimate. If we feel the PDR process will not be a satisfactory repair for your vehicle, we will advise another repair process that will be more suitable.
Advantages:
- Save time and money
- Insurance Approved
- Retains your vehicles original finish
- PDR repairs are virtually undetectable
- Lifetime Warranty for as long as you own your vehicle
PDR is ideal for:
- Hail damaged vehicles
- Minor fender benders
- Minor vehicle body impacts
- End of lease dent repairs (to avoid diminished value)
Aluminum Body Repair
At Carolinas Collision Centers, we are certified by various manufacturers for aluminum repair. As part of this certification, we are required to purchase certain tools that are designed specifically for aluminum repair. Certain vehicles have aluminum and require special repair, meaning that specialists are needed to repair them.
Aluminum repair requires specialization and can be very expensive, but at Carolinas Collision Centers, we have the conditions needed to accurately and efficiently repair your vehicle. Our Aluminum Master Technicians are factory trained, meaning you will receive top-of-the-line repair and your vehicle will be returned to you like-new, with the quality you sought when purchasing it.
Aluminum vehicles include:
- Ford F-150
- Mercedes-Benz S, CL and SL models
- BMW 5 and 6 Series
- Chevy Corvette
- Jaguar XJ
- Range Rover
- Porsche Panamera, 991, 981, and 918
- Audi TT, A8 and R8
- Acura NSX
- Ferrari
- Maserati
- Lamborghini
- Bentley
- Rolls Royce
- Aston Martin
- Lotus
- Tesla
The costs of repairing your aluminum vehicle will be more expensive because it is much more difficult than repairing steel. Working with aluminum requires more safety gear, more advanced equipment, and more skill. Aluminum dust is explosive, meaning that Carolinas Collision Centers must be equipped with an explosion-proof vacuum cleaner. Aluminum is also much harder to heat due to how well it conducts heat, so technicians must be incredibly skilled in order to repair these vehicles.
At Carolinas Collision Centers, we will work to mitigate and minimize the cost of your repairs, but we never want to compromise a quality repair. We provide you with the complete repair experience with the best restoration you can ask for.
Auto Glass
Auto Glass Replacement
Glass replacement is not a clear subject. Your windshield is considered a structural component of your vehicle, and therefore it is very important to replace it with manufacturer original equipment glass if available. In many cases there are cheaper alternatives that insurance companies may recommend, but they may not meet factory specifications. We provide professional advice on glass replacement to ensure that your safety, fit to the vehicle, and the appearance is up to factory specifications.
Auto Glass Repair
Cracked Window? Chipped windshield?
Available Low cost Repair! Clearly, we can take care of you.
Often times it is more cost effective to repair a rock chip than it is to replace a windshield.
In fact, most insurance providers will repair the rock chip at no cost to you. Our master technicians
can repair a rock chip a quarter size or smaller in under 30 minutes with a pre-scheduled appointment.
We are the professional choice to repair or replace your auto glass panel.
Wheel Repair
It's aggravating when we accidently hit that pothole or curb. Now what do you do?
Most often, Expert Master Technicians can restore your wheel to its original finish at under half the original cost of a new original equipment alloy wheel. Wheels that are scraped, gouged, scratched, stained, corroded, or rubbed, our professional refinishing process can restore them to look like new. We can even provide custom cosmetic refinement too!
However, bent or broken alloy wheels can create vibrations that cause stress to vital suspension parts and create unsafe driving conditions. As a result, many manufacturers strongly recommend replacing bent or broken alloy wheels rather than attempting to repair the damaged alloy wheels.
Free Estimate:
Inspection of damaged alloy wheels to determine whether the wheels can be repaired, or whether the wheels need to be replaced
- With Our "Safety First" policy, we will only repair damaged alloy wheels if the repair can be made in a manner that is consistent with manufacturer service guidelines.
- If the damaged alloy wheels need to be replaced to ensure the safety of your vehicle, our collision center has a wide selection of alloy wheels available.
